Multiple players were issued flagrant fouls and technical fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct including Predio‘s coach, Carlinho Barbosa. Diving into the week 2, there were some set expectations among the teams and players. With nail biting performances the first week, fans and teams were hungry and ready to experience another rivalry week. ACVB Launches Inaugural Season

The first day of the 2017 A.C.V.B. season kicked off as it was expected with great battles on floor including renewed rivalries tracing back to Cabo Verde. Competition was phenomenal and each game was increasingly excited. Perhaps the most exciting was the prime-time game between Lenfer and Bairro that went to 3 overtimes in which Lenfer triumphed in a great victory 92-91.
